Today (Sunday, June 8, 2014) is really a memorable cheat day. My family woke up early at 5 o'clock in the morning. We traveled from Cagayan de Oro City to my hometown, Gitagum Misamis Oriental. We attended the first mass (6:30am) at Santo Niño Parish. Today is the feast of the Holy Spirit and also the Foundation Day of my hometown.

Cheat 1
After the mass, we visited my brother. There, we were served spaghetti, chocolate cake and softdrinks.

Cheat 2
We headed home. So happy to see the fast carpentry works of our house. My mother then cooked humba for breakfast served with ginisang uyap and softdrinks again.

Cheat 3
We were so busy cleaning our house that we almost forgot that it's already time for lunch. We bought fish (bariles and tabas) and bahal (coconut vinegar) in the nearby barangay. My brother Nil Oco grilled the fish. In order to save utensils, my uncle cut banana leaves and placed the same on the table. Smoked fish was place on the banana leaves, together with rice, uyap, suha and lemon and ginataang gulay. Boodle fight was had. Once again, it can’t be had without softdrinks after.

After our lunch, palanay was the usual scenario, in local terminology pig sickness (sakit sa baboy). Kids were playing bicycle and badminton; some were sleeping; and I was finalizing my blog at http://bit.ly/prohealthlaw

Around 5 o'clock in the afternoon, we headed back to Cagayan de Oro City to deliver #Herbalife Shake to my fraternal brother at Centrio Ayala.

Cheat 4
We had our dinner at Steves, JR Borja Ext. Cagayan de Oro City. Grilled chicken and pork barbecue was served together with Bulalo soup. Their barbecue is very affordable and taste good.

And now, were home preparing things for tomorrow's work and kid's first day of school for this year. Thank you lord for such a wonderful day.

----
Cheat Day means a allotted day wherein a person who is on weight management program (either lose, gain or maintain weight) diverge his/her program and eat what he/she wants to eat as a reward for him/herself.

Cheat days are beneficial because they work as a reward for a strict adherence to a meal plan and they shock the body out of routine, preventing a plateau.
